We ensure that dirt, dust, rust, fluff, and other impurities are kept to a minimum, not exceeding 1%.

  1. HMS 1 – ISRI Code 200: Heavy Melting Steel. This includes wrought iron and/or steel scrap measuring ¼ inch or more in thickness, with individual pieces not exceeding 60 x 24 inches.
  2. HMS 1 – ISRI Code 201: Heavy Melting Steel 3 feet x 18 inches. Comprising wrought iron or steel scrap measuring ¼ inch or more in thickness.
  3. HMS 1 – ISRI Code 202: Heavy Melting Steel 5 feet x 18 inches. Comprising wrought iron or steel scrap measuring ¼ inch or more in thickness.
  4. HMS 2 – ISRI Code 203: Heavy Melting Steel. This category includes wrought iron or steel scrap, both black and galvanized, measuring 1/8 inch or more in thickness. It may include materials not suitable as No. 1 heavy melting steel.
  5. HMS 2 – ISRI Code 204: Identical to ISRI 203 but with a maximum size of 36×18 inches.
  6. HMS 2 – ISRI Code 205: Identical to ISRI 204 but free of sheet iron or thin-gauged material.
  7. HMS 2 – ISRI Code 206: Similar to ISRI 204 but with a maximum size of 60 x 18 inches.
